Aubrey's 1935 Ford Deluxe 3 Window Coupe

Original Canadian car, sold new in Calgary, Alberta. Runs the factory 221 CID, 90 horsepower ( 1934 & 35 only ) flathead V8

This how it was when I bought it in Lloydminster, Alberta in December, 1991.

This picture taken in our show room in April, 2003.

My coupe as it looks right now. I have a little floor work to do, but otherwise the body is being left as is for the time being. These pictures were taken in early June, 2004.

Here is the original 221 CID Ford V8 90 HP engine. It has about 160,000 miles on it and is definitely pretty tired ! The Evans high compression heads raise the compression ratio to about 8:1 from the factory 6.25:1. This along with the tube type headers, Isky "Max 1" camshaft, .030" over bore ( about 226 CID ), some port & relieve work, and this Thickston 2 carb manifold will raise the horsepower to about 130. This complete rebuild of the engine is just getting under way.

This Thickston 2 carb manifold ( designed in 1936 ) is going to be used on the original engine when I rebuild it this year.

This is the 4 carb Weiand manifold that will be used on the roller cammed 286 CID engine that is planned for use in the car with a 4 speed.

The heads for the "big" engine will provide an approximate compression ratio of 9.4:1, which is up from the factory 6.75:1.

The bell housing adapter on the right will be used with the Borg Warner aluminum case Super T10 4 speed.
